Use of Suprathel in Treatment of Epidermolysis Bullosa

SUPRATHEL application protocol on Epidermolysis Bullosa does not differ significantly from burns. SUPRATHEL® as a thin elastic membrane that adapts itself optimally to the surface of the wound and adheres its own. Thus, there is no need for further fixation of SUPRATHEL® for example by means of a single stitch suture. SUPRATHEL® is only applied once onto the previously cleaned and disinfected wound where it remains until the wound is completely healed. After it is applied, the membrane becomes transparent and makes the inspection of the healing process possible.SUPRATHEL® can be easily removed from the healed skin parts without causing any pain.
